I have to say thank you to you and the banquette staff for an amazing night! I truly appreciate the extra effort you and your team put into setting up red linens and red lighting, it looked amazing and the food was delicious! The banquet staff was incredibly helpful, we had a couple seating arrangement issues and they were kind enough to accommodate us last minute!
On staying with Hotel Halifax during Hurricane Fiona:
We survived! The conference delegates, for the most part, were happy to hunker down with us and make the best of it. Arts sector folks don't get enough credit for our bravery and resiliency really! And the staff went above and beyond to nimbly make sure everyone felt safe and taken care of.
So a huge thank you for that.
I had exceptional service by Chloe, Sales Manager and the Front Desk Team who were very attentive throughout my stay. As my luggage was lost during my entire 6 day stay, Chloe ensured that I had an amenity package ready for me in my room as well as a sweet treat in the mini fridge. She followed up with me throughout my stay to inquire if my luggage had arrived and if there was anything else she could do. Her support was appreciated more than she knew. The Front Desk team always provided a welcome smile and were so considerate no matter who I spoke with.
Amazing staff, room was cleaned and beautiful! We stayed for two nights and if we needed anything the staff was quick to help, they gave us directions to the best spots in town as well.
The front desk staff were great; they provided clear information and offered assistance to make our stay comfortable, provided a parking pass as requested and availed themselves to answer any questions and concerns. They were friendly and greeted us each time we passed through the main lobby. My wife indicated that the pillows were magnificient. The room was clean, well supplied and spacious and provided an excellent view of the harbor. We look forward to our next stay with you!
I love this property. The rates, location, staff and facility is excellent. My favorite place to stay in Halifax!
This is my go to hotel. I only live one hour away but if going out on the town, this hotel can't be beat. Staff are friendly. You can't fake that. They are helpful. Location is great if your want to be within walking distance of food and entertainment. It's attached to parking garage and a mall where you can find a drugstore and liquor, Tim Hortons, Macdonalds. We walked to 5 local establishments. It was in March so it was col but not unbearable. Ended up at Lower Deck to hear a band. Nice to be almost 60 and still enjoying a night out with friends. And I had a room, close to elevator and overlooking Halifax Harbour. Beautiful. Room 723.
Staff was quite friendly and very acommodating. The entire place was spotless. I have never been in a hotel pool that is so clean. Quiet comfortable room. Well done Hotel Halifax!
We had a room on a quiet floor which was nice. Hotel connected to pedways so very convenient especially in winter.
This was the best stay at a hotel I have ever had. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. I had made a mistake on booking my room and booked the wrong date but the ladies at the front desk found us a great room without hesitation. The patio by the pool is beautiful and the room was very well cleaned. We will definitely be back again. Thank you to all the staff for making our little staycation amazing and safe during a very scary time. It was the first time in a long time my kids have looked so happy and relaxed.
The beds are great. Pillows are soft and plush. Room was clean as was the shower and washroom. Front desk staff are friendly, helpful and quick on the check in and out. Right in downtown Halifax so getting where you want to go downtown is within walking distance. I will return!
Close to the downtown core of the city is the best way to go. This hotel is right where you want to be. Close to everything downtown.

The entire experience was excellent, from check-in through check-out. All staff we encountered were courteous and efficient. Rooms and common areas were clean.
Very confusing to find given that it is connected to a mall, the gps brings you to the front entrance of the plaza which is no where near the entrance. Staff were very friendly and quickly accompanied and early check in for myself and my coworker and my other 3 coworkers who joined us a day later. Bigget plus was the beds and pillows- so comfortable. The room itself was a little tired and dated. Convenient access to the pedway allowing indoor walking paths for a quite a way. Being attached to a small mall makes it easy to grab a Starbucks or to puck up little items you had forgotten.
Bed was very comfortable. Room was in a quiet location which we had requested.
Close to harbour. Nice restaurant. Cordial staff. Cleanliness. View of the harbour.

Very convenient to the Scotiabank Centre and downtown. Friendly staff, clean rooms. Awesome hotel!
I loved the friendly atmosphere when you walk through the door. The restaurant being so close to the entrance meant we didn't have to search for it. Cozy bed, warm rooms. I didn't want to leave. Staff were fabulous.
