Exciting Announcement: Conversion to Delta Hotels by Marriott
Guest information and update for upcoming stays
Hotel Halifax is excited to announce that we are joining the Marriott brand of hotels as we convert to Delta Halifax in late 2025. On a future visit, expect to experience our new sophisticated style with sleek finishes, clean lines and flexible spaces designed with you in mind. We are proud to become a leading operator in accessibility, threaded with a unique Maritime Modern design, that nods to our historic footprint while delivering Delta's industry leading Simple made perfect philosophy.
In preparation, from January to March, 2025, we are completing some preliminary renovation work in the hotel. Significant public area and guest impacting renovations are reserved for a hotel closure period from April with an anticipated completion date of July 1st, 2025.
Our team of hosts is prepared to do all we can to minimize any inconvenience to you and has prepared the following plan during our transformation:
- While we will be working around the clock, all loud and potentially disruptive construction will be contained between the hours of 8AM and 5PM so as not to disturb you.
- Signs will mark the areas of the hotel that are under construction. For your own safety, we ask that you avoid these areas.
- Scaffolding will be erected around the building, February to March, 2025, which includes a see-through safety mesh.
