Hotel Halifax is rebranding to Delta Hotels by Marriott in 2025, and we are seeking a visionary Marketing Manager to lead this exciting transition! You’ll shape the narrative for our property, elevate guest engagement, and drive demand across key segments - from corporate travel to small group meetings - all while aligning with Marriott’s premium brand standards. What You’ll Do
Build the Brand: Develop and execute marketing strategies that amplify our transition to Delta by Marriott, ensuring seamless guest experiences across all touchpoints.
Digital Domination: Own our online presence - from Marriott.com to social media - with killer content, SEO, and paid campaigns that drive conversions.
Revenue Rocket Fuel: Partner with Revenue Management to craft promotions that boost RevPAR and market share.
F&B & Partnerships: Showcase our dining outlets and local collaborations through targeted campaigns (hello, Halifax foodies!).
Data-Driven Decisions: Analyze campaign performance, adjust tactics in real time, and report wins to leadership.
Marriott Magic: Leverage brand tools and promotions while infusing local flair into every initiative.
How You Excel
A Strategic Mind: 2–3 years of hotel marketing experience (bonus points for rebranding or franchise transitions!).
Digital Savvy: Proficiency in SEO/SEM, social ads, email automation, and analytics tools (Google Analytics, Meta Suite).
Storytelling Clips: Exceptional writing skills to craft compelling content—from press releases to Instagram captions.
Trendspotter Instincts: Capture attention & engage influencers in a fast-changing consumer culture - always ahead of the curve.
Collaborative Spirit: Love working with Sales, Revenue, and Operations teams to align strategies with business goals.
Marriott Know-How: Familiarity with MARSHA, Bonvoy, or Delphi is a plus (but we’ll train the right candidate!).

Hunt & Close: Prospect and secure corporate accounts (extended stay, government, marine/defense) with tailored pitches
Event Hustle: Rep for the hotel at trade shows, blitzes, and networking events—your charm is our secret weapon.
Data-Driven Strategy: Use market trends (hello, cruise season!) to outmaneuver competitors and boost RevPAR.
Marriott Mastery: Leverage Delta brand tools while injecting local Halifax flair into every deal.
Forecast Like a Pro: Predict group revenue and room demand with precision.
How You Excel
A Sales Shark: 2–3 years of hotel sales experience (corporate market chops preferred).
Negotiation Ninja: You know how to structure win-win contracts under brand/legal guidelines.
Halifax Whisperer: Deep knowledge of who’s traveling here (gov’t contractors, academics, etc.) and how to woo them.
Tech-Savvy: Opera S&C, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office are your sidekicks.
